24th November - Please find attached the flyer for Strings Day, this is one of our instrument days where pupils of all abilities can come and play in conjunction with one of our County Ensembles and our tutors.
Any pupil who has an interest in playing an Orchestral strings instrument (violin, viola, cello or double bass) is welcome to attend, there will workshops for players of all abilities from complete beginners who have never picked up an instrument before, right through to post Grade 8. Best of all, the day is completely free! Places will go quickly, so please signpost your young musicians to this day and get them to sign themselves up.

Ready, set, HO! HO! HO!
We hope you can join us for this year’s Jingle Bell Jog for Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Charity, taking place on Sunday 1st December at University of Central Lancashire Sports Arena, Tom Benson Way, Preston, PR2 1SG.
This 1 mile fun run is around the university’s running track and is suitable for all ages and abilities. It's a great way to begin your festivities for 2024.
We will have some special visitors and there will be prizes on the day for the best fancy dress!
This event is kindly sponsored by 360 Ambulance. Every penny of sponsorship raised will be in support of our Children’s Appeal and will help us to make a difference by creating a calming hospital stay for the 10,000+ children and young people cared for at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust annually.
We welcome you all to join us. The more the merrier, we hope to see you there!
