PSHE
St Stephen's Personal, Social, and Health Education (PSHE) curriculum is designed to foster healthy, independent, and responsible individuals. It addresses moral, social, and cultural issues, helping children to understand personal development and societal roles. The curriculum emphasizes rights, responsibilities, and the value of diversity, encouraging students to contribute positively to both school and the wider community. A key component is Relationships and Sex Education (RSE), which equips pupils with the knowledge to navigate complex relationships and maintain safety. The school also invites visitors and outside agencies to enhance learning experiences, providing real-world insights on important topics. In the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Personal, Social, and Emotional Development (PSED) is foundational, promoting independence, expression, collaboration, and the development of essential vocabulary. This approach ensures children are well-prepared for future learning and life experiences.
