Music
At St. Stephen's, we immerse children in the universal language of music to foster artistic creativity and a lifelong passion for the subject. Our curriculum is designed to inspire self-confidence, creativity, memory, and a sense of achievement. As children progress, they engage with music of increasing complexity, performing, listening to, reviewing, and evaluating works across various historical periods, genres, styles, and traditions. They learn to sing, create and compose music individually and collaboratively, utilise technology appropriately, and have opportunities to learn musical instruments. This comprehensive approach ensures that students not only appreciate music but also develop the skills to express themselves musically.
