Physical Education

At St. Stephen's, we are passionate about delivering a high-quality Physical Education (PE) curriculum that inspires all pupils to excel in different physical activities and sports. Our program includes dance, gymnastics, invasion games, athletics and swimming building on fundamental skills developed in EYFS and Key Stage 1. We emphasise values like resilience, persistence, concentration, fairness, and respect. By encouraging sustained physical activity and participation in competitive sports, we aim to support students' physical and mental well-being. Our strong partnerships with local sports clubs, including Preston North End Football Club, enhance the learning experience, ensuring that every child receives the best possible PE education.
