Earth Day 2024 Planet vs. Plastic

Our pupils have been learning about climate change, saving the planet and ways in which we can try to avoid using single-use plastics. In the weeks leading up to Easter our slogan was 'Healthy Earth, Healthy US' and our eco-council have been exploring different options for bringing food to school that does not involve single-use plastic.

April 22nd is Earth Day which is a celebration of our amazing planet. The theme this year is planet vs plastic. 'Earth Day is a reminder of the importance of environmental conservation and sustainability, encouraging us to come together and take action for a healthier planet and brighter future [...] Let's unite in our efforts to protect the Earth today and for generations to come.
