The Easter Story and the Donkey Trail

As part of our Easter enrichment, we have been using a text called The Easter Story by Brian Wildsmith. You can read it with your child here The Easter story is told through the eyes of a donkey. The classes have been creating Easter artefacts for a special treasure hunt in the Environmental Area which was signposted with donkeys and which has taken place this week. The donkeys and artefacts when found, revealed a letter which spelled out a message (when written in the order of the Easter story); there are 15 donkeys in total. Families visited after school yesterday and had lots of fun even though the weather wasn't great and the ground was a bit muddy. A small Fairtrade chocolate egg was given to everyone who completed the trail.
