Viking Art Lesson 2 - Sculpting Anglo Saxon Crosses

This week lower KS2 sculpted some fantastic Anglo Saxon crosses from cardboard. Plain sheets of cardboard were transformed into three-dimensional crosses, exposing some of the corrugated layers to add texture and small pieces of cardboard to add fine details. The pupils used metallic paints to give the appearance of gold and silver.
